Shutdown
As MCL is designed to work on a wide variety of systems, ACPI support is not guaranteed.
Therefore, MCL ships with its own shutdown utility, which handles resource unloading, disk syncing and safe shutdown.
The user may be prompted to turn off the machine after this process finished if the kernel was not built with support for power handling.
Invocation
Shutdown does not take any additional arguments and may be run by any user with:
